Designing the archive
Sample development log for the v0.1 website prototype. This is placeholder editorial content, not a published progress announcement.
The first visual reference for the website is the PROTOCOL GATE 2040.8 anniversary poster: monumental type, weathered architecture, charcoal skies, and a restrained use of red.
Let the silence do the work
Large areas of darkness give the image room to breathe. Fine rules, small archive labels, and measured spacing suggest a document with a history without making the interface difficult to use.
An identity that survives the screen
The same hierarchy must work on a desktop monitor and a phone. The title remains readable text. Images set the atmosphere. Navigation stays simple.
This sample article can be replaced by a real art-direction update when the studio is ready to share it.
