You have seen how August 2040 ends. No one else has. Build an ordinary life anyway — a home, savings, a family — and decide how much of it to stake on a warning only you believe. There are no rewinds.
02 — THE WORLD
Every season the board changes. Markets crash, borders close and breaking news rewrites the odds. Invest, relocate or hold your ground — but a bad bet, a scam or years without rest can end a life before the war does.
03 — THE GATE
Buy a bunker anywhere in the world — the Canterbury Plains, the Swiss Alps, an old missile silo in Kansas — and wait a year while it is built. Cheap sites sit close to the front, and war stops the work. When the gate closes, only what you finished, and the people you kept close, make it through.
